NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. ELIGIBILITY: The "Dress it up with DAME - Win a pair of earrings from Designs by Rani!" Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, Washington D.C. and U.S. Territories who are at least 18 years of age or older as of August 18, 2008.  Employees, directors and officers of Dame Media LLC and its parent companies, affiliated companies, subsidiaries and any of its agents, advertising, promotional and other agencies, and the immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/directors/officers are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize.  Void where prohibited. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Dame Media LLC, 2155 N. Bell Street, Chicago, IL 60647 (“Sponsor”).  Sweepstakes begins at 12:00am (Pacific Standard Time) on August 18, 2008 and ends 11:59pm (Pacific Standard Time) on August 27, 2008 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). TO ENTER: Online Entries Only:  These official rules are available online at http://www.damemagazine.com/contests/rules/index.php?ContestId=11.  Log on to www.damemagazine.com anytime during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the directions to register on the DAME website; you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes.  All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period as determined by the computer time on Sponsor’s server. Incomplete, garbled, or otherwise illegible entries are void and will not be accepted.  Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or corrupted entries. Entries become the property of Sponsor, and are subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at http://www.damemagazine.com/privacy.php and will not be acknowledged or returned.  Entries limited to one (1) daily per natural person and email address.

DRAWING:  Winner (“Selected Entrants”) will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about August 28, 2008 from among all eligible entries received.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.  Winners will be notified by email using the information provided on the original entry form.  By entering, entrant agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters.  Non-compliance with the requirements set forth in these Official Rules may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate Selected Entrant.  Limit one (1) prize per person and household.

PRIZES/ODDS OF WINNING:  One (1) Grand Prize: Winner will receive 1 pair of Rose Quartz and Sterling Silver earrings from Designs by Rani. Approximate Retail Value for the Grand Prize (“ARV”): $135.00.  Total Prize Pool ARV: $135.00.  Selected Entrant is solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes on prize. No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption of prize, provided however that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.  Selected Entrants may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a liability/publicity release (except where prohibited) within 14 days of prize notification.  Noncompliance with this time period will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If prize or prize notification or any prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.  Sponsor will not make multiple attempts to contact Selected Entrant.   

ADDITIONAL TERMS: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and the directors, officers, employees and agencies of each of the above entities from any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, including any prize travel.  Entrants shall release, and Sponsor shall not be liable for: (i) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (ii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iii) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (iv) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines such entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes in any way by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other players or Sponsor representatives.

PUBLICITY/PRIVACY: Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, winner agrees that Sponsor and its affiliated companies may use the winner’s name, address, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes without limitation or additional compensation.  Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.  The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Illinois and by entering you consent to jurisdiction in the federal and state courts of Cook County, Illinois for the resolution of any and all disputes. All personal information collected by Sponsor will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes. In addition, entrants shall receive email correspondence from DAME, or on behalf of DAME, subject to DAME’S privacy policy. DAME uses reasonable commercial efforts to comply with Federal CAN-SPAM guidelines, and entrants may subsequently opt-out of receiving further emails by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email. Bell Street, Chicago, IL 60647 for receipt by September 1, 2008.  Winners’ lists will be sent once all winners have been verified and prizes have been awarded.
