It’s been exactly six months since millions of people across the country and the world participated in the Women’s March on January 21, 2017. It was a historic protest that was more widely attended than the actual Inauguration, and it helped spark the Trump-era Resistance movement.

From 750,000 in Los Angeles to half of the 60-person town in Stanley, Idaho, Americans took democracy to the streets as they prepared for a presidency fraught with uncertainty.

Half a year later, organizers & participants took to Twitter to reflect upon the march. From the amazing signs…

To the endless sea of crowds…

To cherishing the landmark moment with family and friends…

To the fight ahead…

It’s clear that this moment has turned into a movement. And with daily attacks on our democracy and civil rights, that’s all the more reason to keep resisting and persisting.
