Jasmine Parish Moreno (she/her) is a current graduate student at the University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs and a youth leader at United We Dream Action (UWDA). After graduation, she hopes to continue working on social justice policy to fight for the rights of her family and community. Lucero Lopez (she/her) is an undergraduate pursuing her bachelor’s in political science. She is no stranger to the struggles that come with being first gen surrounded by a mixed status family. She hopes to use the skills she’s learning as a youth leader United We Dream Action (UWDA) to become more involved in Texas grassroots politics to change the current political landscape of the state.
